An Uber driver earned $1,148 on a 520-mile trip from California to Las Vegas, but the massive payout comes with a much bigger question: Is it actually worth it once you factor in the return trip and vehicle costs?
In this clip from Show Me The Money Club, Sergio and Chris bring back Cash or Trash and break down one of the wildest Uber trips they've seen. The ride took more than nine hours and covered roughly 520 miles, with a driver payout of $1,148.
They discuss what happens when you add the return trip, which could turn the ride into roughly 1,040 total miles and 18+ hours of driving, before even factoring in fuel, maintenance, depreciation, a possible hotel stay, and the realities of spending nine hours with the same passenger.
