Should Uber Drivers Wait 10 Minutes?

Uber says Comfort drivers can now wait up to 10 minutes before canceling a trip.

But is waiting that long really worth it?

In this SMTMC clip, Sergio and Chris react to Uber's updated wait time policy and debate whether drivers should be expected to spend that much time waiting for passengers.

They also discuss the changes to wait time pay, multi-stop trips, and whether the new policy actually benefits drivers or simply benefits riders.

For some drivers, those extra minutes could mean higher earnings. For others, it's time that could be spent completing another trip and making more money.

Ten minutes may not sound like much, but over the course of a shift, those delays can add up quickly.

For many drivers, every minute counts. The question is: would you wait 10 minutes for a passenger, or would you move on to the next trip?
