Open Letter to the CEOs of Uber & Lyft!

Drivers have powered Uber and Lyft through some of the toughest years the industry has ever faced. They worked through a pandemic, rising gas prices, expensive repairs, and shrinking earnings. They kept every trip moving and every passenger delivered.

Now both companies are celebrating record profits and rising stock prices. Investors are benefiting. Leadership is benefiting. The people behind the wheel have not felt the same recognition.

That is why drivers are signing a new Open Letter to Uber and Lyft CEOs Dara Khosrowshahi and David Risher. The message is simple and fair. Drivers deserve acknowledgment for the value they create every day.

The petition calls for a one billion dollar “Thank You Bonus” to be distributed to active drivers in the US and worldwide. This is not charity. It is recognition. It is a chance for Uber and Lyft to show drivers that they matter as the industry shifts toward autonomous vehicles and new technology.
