Lyft FINALLY Makes This Change! (...But Will It Make A Difference?)

Check out this driver who has earned $925 in lifetime earnings with Play Octopus! Not bad for just over a year of using it.

After years of frustration, Lyft has finally raised the maximum per trip fare cap from $300 to $720 on regular and Extra Comfort rides - with even higher limits for premium tiers.

In this episode, Chris from The Rideshare Guy breaks down what this change means for drivers, why it’s a step in the right direction, and why many still argue there should be no cap at all.

We’ll also look at real examples of long-haul trips, how the new cap plays out in actual earnings, and the big issue of deadheading back hundreds of miles with no compensation.

So the question is: does $720 finally make those mega-rides worth it, or should Lyft go further and eliminate the cap altogether?

Watch the full breakdown and let us know in the comments what you think - is this enough, or not even close?
