Deactivated Driver Flew To Uber HQ To Get Reactivated

In this video, Sergio and Chris share the story of an Uber driver from Denver who was unfairly deactivated after a passenger falsely accused him of driving under the influence.

With over 20,000 trips under his belt in seven years, this driver wasn't about to go down without a fight.

After Uber's AI-powered review system failed to reinstate him and even blocked his phone number, he took matters into his own hands—literally flying to Uber HQ in San Francisco. After two visits and lots of persistence, his account was finally reactivated within minutes.

What really stood out? His quick thinking.

Right after being deactivated, he flagged down a police officer and asked to be tested, knowing it would prove his innocence.

With dashcam footage, roadside sobriety tests, and even a 24-hour clinic breathalyzer in hand, he showed what perseverance really looks like.
